I sat down at my desk and sighed. It was going to be a long day, I had a load of new arrivals coming and I wasn't really feeling up to it. I looked at the forms on my desk and went back to reports for everyone else. It was going to be a busy day.

I smiled at my daughter "it's good to see you again" I looked across at eagle and stood up "well I suppose I'd better go and see to that"

"Yea" I replied not hiding the sharpness in my voice "I guess y'should" I avoided making eye contact with him, even though he'd known me for ten years I still didn't like him and I knew the feeling was mutual.
