"Ah" I said "well, that was unexpected" I summoned fire in my hands "well there's good news and bad news" I told her. Thinking of how on earth I was going to escape.

"Good!" I replied and cocking the gun, shot 5 zombies in succession. I got three head shots but the other two I only hit in the shoulder.

I looked atound me, this was a pretty organised hoard of zombies, I reloaded my gun "we get out fast, an the only way I can see us doing that is either going over or through them. I prefer over"

Merida smiled and shot at the ground, causing a small explosion "you forgot under" she said. "there are tunnels under this manor"

I nodded, Id had bad experiences with secret tunnels but the ceiling was too low to use the air to get me and her over. Now I wished I'd spent more time learning about air. "Ok let's go, which way" I asked her swatting a nearby zombie with the first thing that came to hand, a book on the shelf beside me.

I ran ahead some and came to a roadblock. "damn!" I cursed openly and looked for a way out. I saw a little bit of light near the top so I started to climb, using arrows as supports.

(should he be protective of her?)

Seeing the zombies coming up behind me I shook my head "I haven't got time to climb!" I told her, smiling because of the accidental rhyme. "Is it pretty clear up there? Nothing sharp or pointy is there?"

I pushed the air up from beneath me and rocketed up the tunnel, I reached about five meters above the ground when I began to fall. I used the air to slow down my landing, but it still wasn't perfect so I hit the ground and went into a crash roll. "I should so try that again some other time!" I said grinning.

"I said another time! Implying a time where there aren't any zombies" I dusted myself off as I stood up "it won't take a hoard that size to long to find another way out so we better get moving" I paused "where's..." I wasn't sure what to call him, he had been her dad for most of her life.
