Re: Edinburgh City
I threw it at the wall, and it hit it but did nothing against the bricks

Re: Edinburgh City
I took a better stance and began to throw ball after ball at the wall, making it to about 20 bursts before tireing

Re: Edinburgh City
"Pretty good" I said, impressed "but it needs to be a more fluid movement" I summoned fire in my hand and did a quick burst "try if you can to switch hands, one after the other" I looked back to her "and again"
Re: Edinburgh City
I was sweating hard but nodded as I sent burst after burst, switching hands but again, tireing out quickt

Re: Edinburgh City
"You want a smaller spark" I said "you don't need much, just a small spark that you feed the flame after that"
Re: Edinburgh City
I nodded and panted a bit as I Di it again, making little improvement

Re: Edinburgh City
"No no no!" I almost shouted "focus on the point where the two fingers connect! It's a spark that you feed. Watch" I summoned some in my hand. I diid it again but didn't kindle the flame. I just summoned a spark.
Re: Edinburgh City
I just stared at him "fine" I said and imitated his movements

Re: Edinburgh City
"Better, now as you summon it intensify and use that change of energy to propel it, you're relying too heavily on physical force" I was being harsh on her but I needed to test her limits. I'd appolosgise later.
Re: Edinburgh City
I huffed and did as told. But I was about to lose my temper
OOC:should she lose her temper?

Re: Edinburgh City
OOC: why not its interesting and she can do it perfectly in her anger, maybe throw some fire at him. He'll defend himself as he's a much stronger Mage
BIC: I could see she was getting impatient but I needs to push her, both mentally and physically, "again, work on your accuracy. For your hits to count, you need to hit the same place"

Re: Edinburgh City
I drew my bow instead, lit the arrows and hit the same spot twenty times. I then turned to him "what now?!?"

Re: Edinburgh City
"I thought I was teaching you magic not archery" I growled faking anger. I'd learnt how to simulate emotions. I needed to get her to flip. It was harsh, but I never said it would be easy.
Re: Edinburgh City
I shot an arrow above his head "that was a warning" I said before resuming to burn the wall, this time using my hands

Re: Edinburgh City
"This isn't going to get anywhere if you just don't focus!" I shouted. This was unfair on her. I usually waited months, even years before I tested my pupils like this. They knew it was coming, I explained how it worked. I could tell she didn't have much time. I had a feeling it wouldn't be long till she had to face the bear. I felt cruel, but I had no choice and neither did she.
Re: Edinburgh City
"I am focusing!" I yelled and turned, blasting flames at him repeativly "I can handle it if you just calm down!"

Re: Edinburgh City
I pushed the air in front of me and waited for the flames to stop. "That'll do for today." I told her standing up. "I'm sorry I had to do that. I had to see your limits. I apologise if I insulted you"
Re: Edinburgh City
I was panting hard and shot an arrow, clipping a piece of hair off his head "thanks"
